Our goal is to advocate for true green beauty in Hong Kong (where we are based), Asia and beyond. We hope to create an engaged user community to help raise awareness of the kinds of safe, natural and sustainable choices we can all make in respect of our beauty habits, without compromising the high standards we expect from luxury brands.

We do all the research, so you don’t have to. All our brands are GSB Approved and satisfy our strict selection criteria: high quality fair trade and certified organic ingredients, all-natural, results-driven, sustainable, ethical - and always toxin free.

We also love to scour the world for beautiful green beauty and lifestyle products to share with you, especially those sourced from talented local artisans located in regions still struggling with high levels of poverty and other challenges. We will continue focusing on expanding our fair trade collections, and hope you enjoy supporting these wonderful brands as much as we do!

Our philosophy at GSB is simple: Love, Cherish, Protect.

We want you to LOVE, and be comfortable in your own skin. We CHERISH life and say no to animal testing and cruelty. We want to PROTECT our planet and support sustainably and ethically sourced and manufactured brands wherever possible.

Why is natural beauty better?

Our skin is our largest organ and is highly absorbent, and certainly deserves our utmost attention and care.

No one wants toxic chemicals in their body. Are there ‘safe’ synthetic ingredients around? Sure. But if there are natural ingredients that can deliver the same, or better, results, we know what we would choose. And if they come from organic farming or are wildcrafted? Count us in. Where we can avoid putting known toxins and other questionable chemicals into our body, we think that every little bit counts.

Like most of you, we’ve tried and tested all kinds of conventional beauty products in our quest for perfect skin. Unfortunately, so many of these are loaded up with unsafe chemicals, which can exacerbate any underlying skin conditions we already have.

We never gave a thought about what went into these products and rarely, if ever, read the ingredients label. How many of these can you even pronounce, let alone understand what they are? If you’ve studied chemistry, you would have worn protective clothing when handling many of these very same chemicals!

Skin care is something we can easily control and change for the better, and we are here to help guide you on your green beauty journey. Here are a few reasons why you might want to make the switch to organic beauty.

· Saying no to animal cruelty. All our products are cruelty free and are not tested on animals (except people!). Most GSB Approved products are vegan, or are vegetarian (which use honey or beeswax).
